Time & Tide

Time & Tide was formed in January 2005
by Erix van Pelt (Analogue Pagans), Jeroen Visscher (Analogue Pagans, Hellmouth, Nascent)
and Vincent Schenck (Eretsua, Hellmouth, Nascent, Navel).

Starting in that same January, Time & Tide played monthly Full Moon electro-acoustic improvisations throughout 2005. ”Burdhr” and ”Release” are taken from their Self-Titled album, which is the result of those sessions.

”Burdhr” is an old Norse word for birth. This track gave birth to a new way of approaching the Full Moon Sessions. The interaction between electronic instruments and the human voice added a new dimension to Time & Tide’s sound.

”Release” is the last track that was recorded in 2005. For this special occasion Time & Tide had invited 3 guests, Daisuke Terauchi, Tamaho Miyake and Han van Hulzen. Together they closed off one year of intense music making.

In 2007 Time & Tide resumed the monthly Full Moon sessions.
